How do you receive mission notices? Mission notices are sent out via constant contact and will arrive in your inbox. Missions are sent out to the whole state at one time, so make sure you open those emails to ensure you are not missing anything. If you are not receiving notices, make sure you have marked all ILPGR emails as a trusted sender. They may end up in your SPAM email folder. If you still are not getting notifications of missions in your area, email bridget.krupa@gmail.com and she will check on your status.

Funeral Participants will often come up and thank you for your service. If you have served, thank them. If you haven’t served, simply state, you did not serve in the military but this is how you serve now. Remember, you are there at one of the worst days of their life. They may also invite you to the luncheon afterwards. Respectfully decline and thank them for the invitation. That is a time for family and friends. More often than not, we stop and have a meal together to debrief and enjoy some camaraderie with each other.

Please sign up via the National Patriot Guard Riders website. www.patriotguard.org. From there you will select the Mid-West Region and finally selecting Illinois.
